With guts and panache, the soloist demonstrates a refreshing creativeness, especially in the adagio, singing like never was done before, bringing out a brilliant musicality. Impeccable technique, sensibility on the verge, sumptuous sound (ah… the low and medium registers!!), incandescent lyricism and Slavic sensuality, everything was there!
